Job Title: MicrobiologistLocation: Berkeley, CAZip Code: 94710Start Date: ASAPJob Type: Contract Keywords: #microbiologist #scientificjobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Testing commercial and clinical samples for release. * Perform microbiology assay and validation activities supporting GMP, Clinical, development product release.* Conduct execution of microbiological methods per approved protocols and testing of routine and investigational samples.* Keeps current with revisions to compendial monographs and to compendial test methods used in the microbiology division.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum Education bachelor's degree in microbiology or relevant plus two years of pharma Microbiology * Minimum Experience 2+ years of experience in microbiological method validation in pharmaceutical industry* Experience with Microbiology assays such as -sterility, LAL (Endotoxin), bioburden, identification, virology* Prior experience in a QC microbiology testing laboratory.* Experience in GMP environment, aseptic technique* Pharma background* Thorough knowledge of microbiological analytical methods, compendial requirements (USP, EP, JP).
