About the Job
We are seeking a Team Leader for our Adult Long Term Structured Residence in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA.
Earn $18.65 per hour, full time with benefits working M - F 4:00 PM - midnight, or $20.65 per hour with the selection of enhanced pay.
The Team Leader directs the activities of the shift making certain all scheduled activities, appointments, and documentation are completed. Assuring individual treatment goals are implemented and documented.
General Responsibilities:
* Provide functional guidance to the Mental Health Technicians in their assigned duties.
* Ensure that there is adequate staffing, including temp staff to meet regulations.
* Provide support at the program at all times within budget guidelines and with approval of a supervisor.
* Assist in developing and maintaining a therapeutic schedule for consumers.
* Communicate with nursing support to ensure safety and emergency procedures including medication protocols and health supports are properly implemented.
* Facilitate the development and growth of family relationships and bonds through ongoing communication (as applicable).
* Perform/assume the role of a direct care worker when a vacancy cannot be covered.
* Assist with or conduct general staff meetings as needed.
* Assist Program Director and HR department concerning employee hiring, discipline, and discharge.
* Assist in preparing performance evaluations for Direct Care Workers by providing Program Director with feedback regarding the individual’s work performance.
* Assist with new hire orientation regarding policies, procedures, and program-specific information.
* Perform chart audits and archiving activities as required.
* Track and report deficiencies in the physical condition of the site to Program Director
* Complete and forward concurrent reviews within established guidelines.
* Assist in assessing, designing and implementing each consumer’s treatment plan to include the completion of all required documentation and attendance at all treatment team meetings.
* Attend and participate in all required meetings, trainings, and committees both inside and outside of the agency.
* Ensure fire drills are run monthly, and forms are filled out appropriately when designated.
* Perform necessary duties of program coordinator in his/her absence.
* Perform other related duties as required or needed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* 1 year of experience working in Mental / Behavioral health.
* A transcript verifying at least 12 credits in the human services field from an accredited college or university.
* Must have a valid driver's license and be covid vaccinated or have an approved exemption.
