At March Wellness & Fitness Center we address the many dimensions of wellness – physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, financial, social and creative – that when combined make each of us unique. At march, members and health practitioners work together to develop a wellness program that draws on a variety of approaches, traditional and novel, to meet an individual's health needs.
The role of a Member Service Associate executes daily center activities including: customer service tasks, enrollment and providing information for members and the public.
Function/Duties of Position:- Open and close center, greet member by name, answer phone calls, operate POS, follow all SOP’s, knowledge and use of membership software, update center information and schedule appointments. Provide information and registration for membership, programs, events and classes. Execute superior customer service.
- Demonstrate knowledge, ability and implementation of all polices and procedure related to the Front Desk operations. Maintain a safe and clean environment. Enroll and process new members.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Respond to all emergencies.
- Public contact training or experience which included exchange of information, goods or money.
- Experience answering questions and providing information.
- Experience delivering superior continuous quality and facilitating high member satisfaction.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, be flexible and meet deadlines.

- Great communicator with the ability to communicate to member and staff in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- BLS HeartCode or CPR/AED certification

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
- High School diploma.
- One year of experience in public contact (such as public service representative, salesperson or receptionist)
- Prior experience in an upscale environment. Demonstrated success in member/customer satisfaction.
- Computer skills in Microsoft office applications, database and point of sale.
Pay Range: $19.59 - $26.12 per hour
- Days, evenings, weekends and holidays required.
- This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds essential.
