We’re excited to invite a talented Centralized Scheduler to our team!

Your Role:
As a Centralized Scheduler, you’ll work under the direction of the Patient Access Team Leader and Manager, performing a variety of important tasks to help ensure optimal revenue for our services. You’ll be responsible for entering orders, scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling appointments and surgeries. This includes completing full pre-registrations by documenting demographics and verifying insurance information. You’ll also determine patient liability for self-pay and out-of-network patients, provide cost estimates, and collect payments electronically. Additionally, you’ll obtain necessary prior authorizations and monitor compliance for medical necessity on surgical cases, all while collaborating closely with OR and ancillary departments to ensure smooth operations and avoid scheduling conflicts. 

What You Bring:

• Strong keyboard skills with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute
• Proven exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and third-party payers
• Proficiency in navigating multiple payer portals and web-based tools

Health Requirements:
You must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza, COVID-19, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Chickenpox), and provide a negative TB test result within the last two years, or provide a signed statement for medical or personal exemptions upon hiring.

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
