About the Job
Our integrated clinical practice is seeking a dedicated and efficient Audiology Manager to lead our team of clinical and non-clinical staff within the Audiology Department. The ideal candidate will embody professionalism, approachability, and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a hands-on leader by performing the same tasks as the staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Assist schedulers, front desk staff, and audiology technicians with role-specific concerns and challenges.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between other departments and healthcare providers.
- Train and onboard new hires, ensuring they are equipped to succeed in their roles.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure optimal provider coverage and service delivery.
- Monitor and implement strategies to reduce patient wait times and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure patient registration, including insurance verification and necessary documentation, is completed prior to appointments.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain adequate supplies and resources.
- Initiate and implement processes to enhance the patient experience and satisfaction.
- Inspire and motivate the team to achieve high performance and foster a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating compassion and understanding.
- In-depth knowledge of various insurance plans and processes.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization skills, flexibility, and quick decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to working with staff and management.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctual
3 to 5 years of leadership experience in an Audiology / Hearing Aid medical office setting
