- Using diagnosis and treatment codes to submit patient claims to insurance companies for reimbursement.
- Billing patient for expenses not covered in full.
- Ensure accurate billing, timely submission of insurance claims and monitoring claim status.
- Checking in patients prior to surgery.
- Overseeing billing process, processing payments, and maintaining financial records.
- Answering phone calls.
