Position Overview:
The Medical Director is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding medical staff, overseeing recruitment and training, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with proven leadership in healthcare teams, strong communication skills, extensive clinical experience, knowledge of reimbursement models including value-based care, and a proactive approach to technology integration.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Up to $275,000 Per Year - Based on Experience

Qualifications:
- Board Certified Psychiatrist
- Experience in the Inpatient and Outpatient Settings
- Experience Supervising Mid Level Providers and Other Psychiatrists
- Clear and Active Florida License
- Active DEA registration
Responsibilities:
- Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM
- Medical Director will oversee all locations. All populations.
- Provide guidance and leadership to program and branch psychiatrist, APRNs, clinicians, nurses, students and volunteers.
- Supervise psychiatrists and APRNS clinically and administratively.
- Provide comprehensive assessments, referrals and short-term treatment to individuals in crisis
- Work collaboratively with other professionals throughout the community and aid in data collection and reporting.
- Assist in establishing performance standards/policies and monitor compliance.
- Communicate and provide consultation/training to other levels of management, units, agencies and staff. Ensure that the agency operates within the guidelines established by the Agency for Health Care Administration, CARF, and Department of Children and Families.
