Job Summary:
DUCG is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with an MA diploma or 1 year of on-the-job experience. Preferrably, our next team member will be familiar with blood draws, administering injections, and verifying insurance.
We have 2 different scheduling models for our clinical staff to choose from, with at least 1 on-call shift each week (comes with $50 on-call shift bonus!)
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
- Assist with patient procedures.
- Provide warm and inviting customer service to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling patient registration.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, OR 1 year of on-the-job training as a Medical Assistant.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
