Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established healthcare provider, for multiple Medical Assistant & Scribe positions. Job Description:
We are looking for Medical Assistants & Scribes to support providers in both front and back-office duties. The role will start with a mix of administrative and clinical tasks, gradually increasing in medical responsibilities as candidates become more integrated into the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and record vitals
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures
- Document patient history and input medical chart notes
- Provide support with front desk tasks, including answering phones as needed
- Transition into expanded back-office duties over time
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program or National CMA certification
- OR LPN certification in place of MA credentials
- Active BLS/CPR certification through Red Cross or AHA
- Up-to-date immunizations, including:
- MMR (titers or proof of 2 doses)
- Varicella (titers or proof of 2 doses)
- TDaP (within the last 10 years)
- TB test (within the last 12 months)
- Flu vaccine (if in season)
- No COVID vaccine required
- No marijuana testing
Additional Details:
- Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks (pending background check, drug screening, and clinical testing)
- Training: Two weeks, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (location changes weekly)
- Shifts: 12-hour (8 AM – 8 PM) or 16-hour (8 AM – 12 AM) shifts
- Work Locations: Alternating between two main clinic sites on a rotating schedule
