Position Purpose
Responsible for assessing and reassessing patients, maintaining accurate patient records including filing of reports in designated areas, scheduling of appropriate tests when indicated, responding to patient phone calls, speaking with pharmacies when indicated under the supervision of the provider.
Position Qualifications
Education:
+ Graduate of a high school or equivalent required.
+ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred.
Certifications/Experience:
+ One-year experience in a related health care field with at least one-year experience in a relevant physician office role preferred.
+ Current CPR Certification preferred, required within 3 months of hire.
+ CMA preferred or ABROE required within 3 months of hire.
