About the Job
Responsible for Maximus' MES Provider services strategy, and growth, as well as capability development and delivery. Role will focus on industry alignment and leadership, client engagement, innovation, inter-team collaboration, and effective and quality delivery. Additional responsibilities will include P&L management, pricing strategies, procurement and demonstration support, contract and change management, problem resolution and process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of system maintenance and operations, and other initiatives that support the operations of our clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, govern, and monitor program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
- Serve as collaboration catalyst among the key Maximus domains and technical leads. Model and promote client-oriented problem solving.
- Contribute key input to PMO strategy development, identify and execute division-wide initiatives contributing to PMO strategy.
- Partner with executive leaders to define, set and manage budget and other financial targets.
- Support the CI/CD pipeline to allow us to continuously release new features while ensuring the stability of our existing systems.
- Seek and implement efficiencies across the portfolio.
-Monitor team performance, provide timely and critical feedback on a regular cadence, establish plans for improvement when necessary, and provide at least quarterly performance checkpoints with each direct report; you are invested in your people.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate metrics to be shared organizationally and with senior leadership.
- Support new project scoping, estimating, and resourcing. Participate in new business capture as needed.
- The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and ability to lead multiple support teams responsible for advanced technology design, development, integration, testing, training, deployment, operations and/or maintenance efforts.
- In addition, have the organizational ability to direct multiple activities of an integrated team of technical, organizational, and business process improvement staff to execute the business plans, interface with other functions and outside personnel, investigate and resolve problems, and prepare capital and operating budget requests.
- Oversee all aspects of the business unit to include the operational performance, strategic planning, contracting actions, subcontractor management, human resources assignments, recruiting, hiring, financial management, budgeting, and business development.
- Work proactively and effectively with clients,and deliver high quality work products in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership in recommending, developing, and communicating approaches for resolving specific issues.
- Effectively communicate with personnel at all levels in the organization, preparing and briefing senior management on contract performance regularly.
- Perform complex tasks with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Manage across multiple tasks with differing priorities.

- Maintain contract growth, profit, and performance.
Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ Years of experience
Skills and Experience Expectations:
• 20+ years Medicaid Fiscal Agent/BPO leadership experience, with Provider and Claims' operations' focus
• 15+ years Program delivery, transition, and implementation experience
• 15+ years leading and participating in Medicaid-related procurements
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Strong people leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to lead and work with matrixed teams, including both business and technical teams
• P&L management experience
• Contract management and negotiation skills

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
