About The Position
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to interventions and prescribed medical treatments, ensuring accurate charting.
- Assist physicians in examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications, initiate and monitor IV infusions, and manage blood products.
- Monitor and evaluate patient physiological data and intervene as necessary.
- Care for post-operative patients, including those with:
- Drains, wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, NG or DHT tubes.
- Deliver patient education regarding care plans and discharge procedures.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and delegate tasks to support staff.
- Respond to and manage step-down care patients.

Job Requirements

Required:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care med/surg or surgical specialty experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, techniques, and procedures.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in ENT or transplant surgical care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
