About The Position

Unit Overview:
- 4E: Post-operative surgical care, including patients with drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT/DHT, and some step-down care. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 5:1 for surgical patients and 3:1 for step-down.
- 4W: Surgical transplant unit, providing care for post-op and transplant patients, with a focus on monitoring for rejection, infection, and complications.
Requirements:
- Med/Surg experience required, with experience in step-down care preferred.
- Must be comfortable with post-surgical care and monitoring complex patient needs.
