Do you have a knack for overseeing complex projects from conception to completion? If so, we are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join our thriving team in the construction industry. Responsibilities:
As our Mechanical Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of mechanical projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
2. Coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project progression.
3. Reviewing and approving mechanical designs, ensuring they comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and tracking project performance against these plans.
5. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, and developing contingency plans as needed.
6. Conducting regular project reviews and producing detailed reports on project status.
7. Resolving project issues and conflicts, and escalating issues as necessary.
8. Ensuring all project documentation is complete, accurate, and stored appropriately.
9. Continually seeking opportunities to improve project management processes and practices.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
4. Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
5. Strong understanding of project management principles and practices, and proficiency in project management software.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues.
8. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
10. PMP or equivalent project management certification would be an advantage.
