Mechanical Engineer - Penn Technical Staffing

A busy MEP Engineering firm located in West Chester, PA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC design.  Responsibilities: Perform heating and cooling load calculations utilizing Carrier HAP and/or Trane Trace; Interpret applicable building codes and standards; Design commercial and industrial air distribution systems; Design commercial and industrial hydronic heating and cooling systems; Specify mechanical equipment and systems; Produce design drawings, sketches, and schedules utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit; Prepare written project specifications.; Review submittals and shop drawings; Perform engineering field activities, including surveying existing conditions and construction observation; Coordinate work with other disciplines, including architectural, structural, and electrical. Job Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering; Minimum 3 years of experience in the design of HVAC systems; Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
