Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in thermal simulation, proficiency in Python or Matlab programming, and experience in designing rotating components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced thermal simulations, developing innovative designs, and using programming tools to optimize mechanical systems. This role requires strong technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thermal simulations to analyze heat transfer and thermal dynamics in mechanical systems, ensuring designs meet thermal performance requirements.
- Design and optimize rotating components such as shafts, turbines, compressors, or motors, focusing on efficiency, durability, and performance.
- Develop and validate simulation models to predict thermal behavior in real-world applications.
- Use Python or Matlab at a proficient level to automate simulations, analyze data, and optimize mechanical designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and product designers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.
- Conduct performance testing and validation of mechanical systems, and recommend improvements based on findings.
- Provide detailed technical documentation, including simulation reports, design specifications, and testing protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of thermal simulation concepts, heat transfer, and thermal management techniques.
- Proficiency in Python or Matlab for data analysis, simulation automation, and optimization.
- Experience in the design, analysis, and testing of rotating components such as motors, turbines, pumps, or similar.
- Knowledge of mechanical simulation tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar for thermal and structural analysis.
- Familiarity with materials selection and mechanical stress analysis in relation to rotating parts and thermal constraints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
