About the Job
1.0 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full time salary position in which the person has the responsibility of preparing
customer submittal drawings, shop fabrication drawings, and associated engineering documents.
This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
2.0 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
2.1 Associate degree in computer aided drafting and design technology, or closely related
associate degree, or two years drafting experience using current Autodesk Inventor
software.
2.2 Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
2.3 Ability to communicate with Project Managers and other department employees to solveproblems.
2.4 Ability to organize a demanding workload to ensure that all orders go out as scheduled.
2.5 Willingness to work hours necessary to meet schedules.
2.6 Must be proficient with Autodesk Inventor, Windows, and Microsoft Office software.
3.0 DUTIES
3.1 Primary Duties
3.1.1 Work closely with assigned Project Manager to prepare submittal and fabrication
drawings in accordance with established company standards and customer
specifications.
3.1.2 Effectively manage time to ensure drawings are completed according to project
schedule.
3.1.3 Review and check all drawings prior to submittal and/or release to
manufacturing for accuracy and compliance with the sales order and job
specifications.
3.1.4 Prepare required engineering documents for the orderly processing of all
engineered orders.
3.2 Secondary Duties
3.2.1 Assist Project Managers in resolving field and/or manufacturing problems.
3.2.2 Complete additional, related duties, as assigned by the Engineering Manager
3.2.3 Establish engineering standards.
3.2.4 Continue career development

Salary
65,000 - 70,000 /year
