Overview& &

We are a manufacturer of water features and are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in water pump design. The ideal candidate should understand fluid dynamics, pump curves, and related concepts like pressure drop, friction loss, and NPSHr. You'll be designing propeller and impeller pumps and their nozzle discharges.

Work Schedule:& &

Monday-Friday, daytime hours for a consistent workweek.

Requirements:&

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.& &

- 2+ years of mechanical design experience, especially in hydraulics.& &

- Experience with water pump design and materials (metals and plastics).& &

- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pump curves, velocity, and related principles.& &

- Experience with SolidWorks.& &

Nice to Have:& &

- Plumbing or electrical experience.& &

- Familiarity with electrical components or construction/maintenance services.

Responsibilities:& &

- Design and test new products.& &

- Improve existing products and design molded components.& &

- Source parts and materials, and develop BOMs.& &

- Apply mechanical engineering principles and knowledge of hydraulics and materials.
