Who Are We Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment, within the Production Department. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Mechanic will ensure that all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
- Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor specialized machinery and equipment related to the production process
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members on machine operations and maintenance procedures Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, performing necessary adjustments and repairs to maintain efficiency and safety
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or accidents promptly and participate in safety training as required
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Team and direct supervisor, to address any discrepancies in the production process
- Communicate with your direct supervisor when materials are needed for machine repairs or operations
- Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and other mechanical systems.
- Utilize an Ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance in components.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; additional certification in mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, including the use of an Ohmmeter.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
