Program Goal

To help older adults to age safely at home and maintain their quality of life.

Position Summary

Meal Delivery is responsible for assisting driver and delivering meals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in packaging of home delivered meals
• Delivers catered meals to senior’s homes
• Maintain daily temperature log for hot and frozen meals
• Ensures meals are securely fastened to meal transporter
• Collects and records contributions and reports them to supervisor daily
• Keeps uniform clean
• Keeps cell phone charged and working
• Keeps first aid kit up to date
• Follows DFTA policy in regards to customer service and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED
• Great Customer Service Skills
• Ability to walk up the stairs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
