Summary: Seeking a Materials Analyst to support Service and Accessories Material planning, optimize inventory levels, and ensure supply continuity by managing supplier relationships and utilizing MRP systems.
Job Requirements:
4-6 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Production Planning
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations or related discipline
Preferred Skills:
2+ years of related automotive industry experience
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems, particularly with product lifecycle management and supply chain operations (SAP preferred)
Familiarity with EDI communications and procure to pay processes
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure optimal inventory levels and efficiencies for service warehouse components
Support quick product changeovers and maintain on-time delivery from suppliers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Service Engineering, NPI, Demand Planning, Accessories
Execute MRP planning within Rivian's ERP system to ensure global supply continuity
Communicate service parts requirements to a global network of Tier 1 suppliers managing over 6,000 parts & components
Resolve issues with suppliers to achieve On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) performance
Work with Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality teams to streamline material flow into central distribution centers
Monitor supplier capacities and bottlenecks against forecasts to maintain schedules
Drive backlog recovery by analyzing inventory run-out situations and coordinating communication between internal and external parties
Pay: 25-34

Pay Details: $25.00 to $34.00 per hour
