Job Description
The Material Planner will report to the Value Stream Manager in a strategic, high-growth, change-oriented, dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of proficiency, performance, and development throughout department.
+ Track material shortages for job orders, kitting, sub-assemblies based on requirements. Report and communicate material risks and production impacts to key stakeholders.
+ Plan and execute production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of conforming material to meet delivery requirements.
+ Balance current and future production plans with manufacturing and program to ensure completion of customer requirements.
+ Establish, monitor, and verify Oracle ASCP system parameters, including buffers, inventory levels while mitigating risk by performing audits of line side material.
+ Review, action, and resolve material exception messages in advance of production impact.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of production planning/manufacturing experience or equivalent education with 4 years of production planning/manufacturing experience
+ ASCP experience (MRP demand and supply planning)
+ Proficiency in use of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, and Access)
+ Ability to independently exercise discretion and independent judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable MMAS regulations and protocol
+ Ability to represents organization as a prime contact on projects
+ Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Lean Process Improvement Exposure
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
