About the Job
We are currently looking for a Material Handler/Puller at U.S. Lumber to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will need a strong power equipment background. Operate electric lifts, cherry picker etc. Experience in supplying production lines.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operates forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting materials
- Operate power equipment, electric lifts, cherry picker etc.
- Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations
- Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities
- Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash and recycle type materials
- Clean all parts and pieces using sandpaper, acetone on a cloth rag, or using air hose to blow off dust in tough to reach areas to ensure parts and pieces are ready to be painted
- Band, wrap and tape product as needed
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Load trucks with finished door products per direction of Production Manager
- Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned

Starting Pay $22/hr based on experience.
