Job Title: Material Handler and Forklift Operator
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50
Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift Availability
Job Summary: This position is responsible for safely and accurately handling, storing, and distributing materials, products, and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, receive and check shipments, and move materials and products within the warehouse.

Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as necessary. Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, and actively promote a safe working environment.

Teamwork: Maintain good communication and work in a team-oriented environment.

Product Knowledge: Gain knowledge of the products being handled, including their packaging and handling requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification (training may be provided).
- Basic math skills and the ability to use inventory software or systems.
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 pounds) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Occasional work in outdoor conditions, depending on the facility's layout.
