Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Material Handler 1 to join our team in Irvine, United States. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory management.
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials and shipments
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations
- Update inventory records using computerized systems
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management abilities
- Forklift certification preferred
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $16.50 - $18.50 per hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
