Material Expediter - Power House Resources International

Performs a range of warehousing activities including: receiving, storing, selecting, moving, packing and shippingof general specialized bulk and bin materials and equipment. Performs material handling duties, including the use of tools and equipment, and maintains a clean and hazard-free working area. HAZMAT certified and shall be qualified to certify hazardous material for shipment. Apply proper blocks and braces techniques to cargo in accordance with technical orders, Interstate Commerce Commission regulations, the American Railroad Manual, and/or other instructions. Operates material handling equipment which includes forklifts and warehouse tugs. Load and unload cargo, aircraft engines, aircraft parts, and rolling stock from flat bed, cargo box trailers, and cargo aircraft. Operates a variety of industrial packaging machines including box machine, foam-in-place machine (FIP), turntable stretch wrapper, stitching and staple machine, plastic strapping machine and the heat sealer. Inspects, provide user accountability, and maintains serviceable operating condition for various powered and non-powered equipment.
