About the Job
The Marketing Product Manager Device & Skincare is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of strategic marketing plans that increase brand identity, brand awareness and utilization of the Ax Device & Skincare portfolio products. This role will work closely with the other Aesthetics marketing teams to drive synergy among the Merz portfolio, with Territory Managers, Regional Directors, & Sales Leadership to drive execution in the field, Field Sales Training to align current messaging for new hire training and product launch trainings, as well as marketing agency partners.
YOU WILL:
Develop and implement integrated marketing communications plan
- Work with marketing teammates, other internal departments, and internal agency partners to execute tactics on strategy and within budget.
- Act as launch lead for identified product launches.
- Work with internal agency to create professional marketing materials including sales materials, customer training materials, in-office promotional materials, customer training and annual promotional calendar. Work with Veeva coordinator to ensure Promotional Review Committee oversight and oversee production process and rollout to stakeholders.
- Produce detailed monthly marketing highlight report reviewing current results and presenting upcoming programs.
Develop and implement department budgets and forecasts
- Work with Brand Marketing leadership to establish annual and long-range forecasts and budgets for brand portfolio monitoring operational spend vs. budget.
- Generate ROI models where appropriate.
Develop and manage all public relations initiatives
- Work with PR agency and Associate Director of Consumer Marketing on media monitoring and outreach plans.
- Communicate submission to industry-specific awards to customers and patients.
- Maintain awareness of key social media influencers and other consumer outreach efforts.
Digital Platforms
- Work with Sr. Product Manager to influence content for updates to FAD, HCP portal, and other relevant digital outlets.
Supply Chain
- Coordinate marketing efforts with Global Marketing to ensure brand consistency and operational efficiency.
- Provide input, customer feedback and drive timelines for new product development.
Assist Field Sales Organization in the development of sales promotion and incentive programs
- Responsible for leading promotional activities for all device/skincare brand content.
- Create a promotional calendar and communicate development and implementation of field promotions to the field.
- Work cross-functionally with other brands to optimize field based promotions and activities.
- Work with Sr. Manager, Strategic Initiatives on sample strategy and process.
- Manage Product Inventory and PTP Vendor Setup & Management.
Other duties as assigned
YOU WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2-4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry or in professional aesthetic.
- Demonstrated experience leading a product launch/product development processes from concept to commercialization.
- Experience in problem solving and managing complexity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with both internal teams as well as external customers.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific data.
- Analytical capabilities including the ability to interpret data and create insights for field sales.
- Cross functional matrix management and collaboration skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
- Ability to travel 15-20% of the time.
