Description
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Marketing Analytics Manager. This role is responsible for owning the analytics and reporting for the Amazon Flex marketing function, and includes building and managing marketing performance dashboards, owning marketing data and subsequent analysis, diving deep into metrics and KPIs, generating actionable insights, and advising teams on the impact of marketing initiatives. It also includes building and automating use cases for areas such as performance attribution, target market segmentation, KPI reporting, and media mix modeling. You will work cross-functionally with worldwide stakeholders from marketing, communications, capacity planning, BI, business operations, and leadership. You will also have a deep understanding of customers, the business, and levers for delivering results. An ideal candidate is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. They will be comfortable with ambiguity, and thrive in a changing and fast-growing environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive data analysis operation improvements with automation, standardization and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Drive newly onboarded delivery partner strategy insights by analyzing existing engagement tactics and suggesting optimizations
Provide recommendations to increase delivery partner funnel conversion yield; set input goals to ensure improvement in key conversion metrics (e.g., onboard time to first route delivery, conversion yield) and engagement metrics (e.g., delivery partner satisfaction scores, communication open and engagement rates), aiming for year-over-year growth in all areas.
- Collaborate with BI, Capacity Planning, Tech teams, and additional Marketing Analysts to automate how we work backwards from engagement targets and working rates to ensure that all delivery partner recruitment targets are met on time.
- Plan, launch, operate and optimize marketing performance dashboards.
Develop actionable insights from campaign data to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a non-internship marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Experience with bottom of marketing funnel and communications-based customer profiling and segmentation
- Experience with reporting automation solutions, such as Tableau or AWS QuickSight to streamline manual tasks
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Familiarity with retention marketing performance KPIs and understanding of how to interpret KPIs to inform future strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing analytics for an app based company/product/program
- Familiarity with data engineering workflows and experience collaborating with engineering or data science teams to enhance data pipelines.
- Comfort operating in a sometimes ambiguous and changing space
- Hands-on experience with building and refining multi-touch attribution models or incrementality frameworks.
- Knowledge of advanced methodologies like Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
