We're seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Director to drive the development and execution of a scalable lead-generation program that powers our sales teams with quality leads. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and has strong executive support to ensure your long-term success. This is a hands-on, data-driven role with high growth potential.
Objectives
The base salary range for this position is $125K - $140K annually, depending on experience. Additionally, this position offers a performance bonus of up to 20% of the annual salary, bringing total compensation to as much as $168K.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. We're seeking a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Director to drive the development and execution of a scalable lead-generation program that powers our sales teams with quality leads. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and has strong executive support to ensure your long-term success. This is a hands-on, data-driven role with high growth potential.
Objectives
- Develop a profitable, scalable lead-generation program.
- Help plan and build out the technology, processes, and campaigns to generate new business.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to help win new business and maximize the conversion rate of the marketing funnel.
- Own the end-to-end lead gen funnel in a hands-on capacity.
- Manage and judiciously deploy a significant marketing budget.
- Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.
- Manage a team of marketers and creatives and the prioritization of their projects.
- Meet regularly with internal sales teams to review the pipeline, refine lead qualification, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions.
- Support attendance at conventions, conferences, webinars, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling B2B lead generation.
- 8+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years as a marketing director.
- Excellent data-driven decision-making skills, communication, and leadership.
- Experience in digital marketing, including content and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
- Managing 6-figure monthly B2B lead gen ad budgets.
- Marketing experience in staffing, consulting, and B2B.
- Demonstrated success with SEO, thought leadership, and print marketing.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
