Responsibilities

• Assist the marketing team in developing and executing strategies for various programs and sponsorships, contributing new ideas and insights.
• Support the creation of marketing materials, including copywriting, editing, and designing digital and print content.
• Help with photography, design, and image selection to ensure that all materials align with the Michigan First brand and its subsidiaries.
• Stay informed about industry trends, member demographics, products, and services to communicate effectively with both members and non-members.
• Support the management of marketing collateral and promotional product inventory, working with vendors and processing invoices as needed.
• Contribute to community engagement efforts, creating promotional content and assisting with charitable initiatives.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as tracking marketing metrics, organizing meetings, and assisting in event coordination.
• Take on other duties and projects as assigned to support the overall marketing function and team.

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience working in marketing through internships or prior positions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, website content management, Adobe creative Suite, Google analytics and various social media platforms
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the marketing field.
• A humble, positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and take direction.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to contribute ideas and assist with project execution.
• A flexible, team-first mentality and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
