Job Summary:
The Community Manager serves as the essential connection between Jeeter and the budtender community in your state. This role involves leading the planning, budgeting, and execution of Jeeter University educations, Social Hours, and events, ensuring that every interaction reflects Jeeter's high standards. The Community Manager also manages Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collaborates closely with product development, and ensures that the local team remains up-to-date on the latest product offerings. This position plays a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with the budtender community, growing brand loyalty, and driving community-focused initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Jeeter University events, Social Hours, and educations, ensuring seamless execution.
- Lead the planning and coordination of all Jeeter University educations and events in the state, including budget tracking and execution oversight.
- Manage all Social Hours and hybrid hours, ensuring these initiatives align with overall marketing and community goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Jeeter University Education, Social Hours, and Event Management:
- Organize and lead budtender social hours, awards programs, giveaways, and exclusive apparel initiatives to build brand loyalty and engage the budtender community.
- Develop marketing materials, booklets, and digital resources for Jeeter University, ensuring the materials meet brand standards.
- Monitor market trends to proactively plan and execute relevant events.
- Oversee the execution of all budtender initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency and cost control for Jeeter University events.
- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial plans.
Education and Product Development Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the product development team on a monthly basis to stay informed about current and upcoming products.
- Lead educational initiatives in the state, ensuring the local team remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest product standards.
Budtender Ambassador Program:
- Develop and manage state-specific budtender VIP initiatives, recruiting dedicated advocates from dispensaries to participate in Jeeter's community programs.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of SOPs for events and general operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency in execution.
- Regularly update informational documents for Jeeter University to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Survey and Initiative Management:
- Create and manage surveys for various budtender campaigns to gather data, providing insights into campaign performance and areas for improvement.
Budgeting and Planning:
- Collaborate with the Jeeter University team to align budgeting and planning efforts with organizational goals, ensuring efficient resource allocation and successful program execution.
Collaborative Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Jeeter University team, product development, and educational teams to ensure seamless coordination, effective budgeting, and successful execution of all state-specific budtender initiatives.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be 21 years or older and possess a valid Driver's License.
- Strong understanding of both wholesale and retail marketing strategies, with an emphasis on brand activation and community engagement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and foster meaningful relationships with the budtender community.
- Highly proficient with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Excel, Asana, and other project management tools, for tracking, organizing, and reporting marketing initiatives.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities, ensuring flexible and strategic execution of marketing plans.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust to dynamic timelines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a focus on operational efficiency and maximizing ROI on community and event initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing programs, campaigns, and events, with a proven ability to execute successful community and brand initiatives.
- 4+ years of team management experience, including hiring, training, and supervising field or community teams.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or similar regulated sectors is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience with budget management and event planning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently to different locations weekly to support field marketing and community initiatives.
