Job Description:
The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans to enhance the organization’s brand, promote events, and engage stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Development, Community, and Family Engagement, this role is responsible for managing external communications, social media, digital marketing, and internal branding efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and messaging strategies to engage stakeholders.
- Create high-quality written and visual materials, including newsletters, brochures, and press releases.
- Manage the organization’s website and assist with its redesign.
- Oversee social media content creation and daily engagement on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Design promotional materials for fundraising initiatives and events.
- Capture and manage marketing assets, including photography and videography.
- Standardize design for internal and external organizational materials.
- Attend and support family engagement and school-based events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience or relevant internships.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar), digital marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in diverse communities or educational settings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus.
