What you will do:
- Track individual team efficiencies, monitor progress, and identify causes
- Implement and maintain progressive bundle production system and other systems as needed throughout the NSA manufacturing plant
- Be responsible for having clear work instructions to prevent mistakes and quality issues.
- Be responsible for managing team staffing levels and employee retention and attendance
- Be responsible for managing organization within the teams so orders can be prioritized appropriately.
- Ensure that appropriate training/cross training is provided to team members
- Lead Supervisors in problem solving, managing their operators, and coaching to excel and care.
- Ensure that excellent quality and customer expectations are met.
- Instill consistent manufacturing techniques to provide high quality seams and garments
- Ensuring employees follow the rules/policies for Safety and Housekeeping
- Provide updates and feedback on projects, issues, and goals to the manufacturing director
Training: Provided on the job
Qualifications:
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor Degree, preferably with a focus on textile/apparel management
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work in an apparel manufacturing facility managing production and/or quality
Key Competencies:
- Proficient in running, processing, and interpreting reports
- Experienced with efficiency graphs and tools such as Tableau and Daily Dashboards
- Well-versed in production system principles
- Familiar with capacity management information
- Ability to approach challenges as opportunities for problem-solving
- Maintain a consistently positive outlook
- Demonstrate persistence and determination
