As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Be responsible for manufacturing planning, manufacturing process continuous improvement, first article proofing, process/quality control, and new product design and development support.
- Develop detailed parts and assembly manufacturing plans and process requirements/operation instructions.
- Lead production quality investigation, resolution, and improvement, using statistical tools, like Minitab (SPC & Cpk) analysis.
- Support new product development for manufacturability.
- Create remanufacturing/rework plans.
- Drive continuous process improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Manufacturing engineering experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Excellent communication, collaborative, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to support production schedules and be able to perform with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and SharePoint
- Familiar with dimensioned drawings/operation instruction sheets
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Turbomachinery, Steel components manufacturing experiences; assembly & testing
- 6 Sigma and Lean process training and project experiences
- Working experiences with CMM (coordinate measuring machine), NDT (non-destructive testing), and solid modelling.
- Knowledge and experience with Baan ERP.
- Experience with Windchill, SFIS, Minitab, Quicksilver.
