POSITIONSUMMARY:Are you a seasoned electrical engineer with a passion for leadership and innovation? We are seeking a highly qualified Manager of Electrical Engineers to oversee and drive our electrical engineers and engineering functions.
·Project Oversight:
·Ensure all electrical engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
·Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and improvement of electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, and systems.
·Team Management:
·Provide daily oversight of the electrical engineering staff.
·Schedule, delegate, and follow up on electrical engineering projects.
·Validate detailed calculations performed by other electrical engineers.
·Compliance and Quality Assurance:
·Verify that the team coordinates manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
·Implement policies and procedures for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electronic devices or systems.
·Adhere to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations and supporting continuous improvement activities.
·Research and Development:
·Planned and implemented research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
·Compile data and write reports regarding projects in progress.
·Safety and Support:
·Support and participate in corporate’s PPS team efforts.
·Adhere to Safety policies and practice behavioral-based safety 100% of the time.
Qualifications:
·Education:
·Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
·Experience:
·10+ years of experience in a related manufacturing field.
·Proven track record of successfully managing teams of Electrical Engineers (minimum of 7 years).
·Skills:
·Excellent problem-solving skills using various techniques and tools such as A3, 8D, or similar methodologies.
·Familiarity with FMVSS and DOT regulatory requirements.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
