SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This position will work with the Sr. Director of Talent on the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive learning strategies that drive organizational performance and align employee performance with organizational goals while providing rewarding career opportunities and professional growth and development for our employees. This position is designed for individuals who have extensive experience in Talent Management and Leadership Development and are looking to further grow and expand their career in HR. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of HR principles, expertise in learning strategy, content development, instructional and graphic design, and vendor management.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Strategy Alignment: Design and implement strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and NextDecade's Operating Philosophy.
- Development Programs: proven experience in developing and executing development solutions at enterprise-wide scale in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of the effectiveness of different learning modalities, including in-person and virtual instructor-led training, leader-led training, eLearning and microlearning, and AI-driven learning. Expert in ADDIE model design and Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation. Partner with vendors to integrate tools and innovative platforms into existing programs and initiatives.
- Facilitation Skills: proven experience as a workshop facilitator delivering leadership, management, and supervisory knowledge and skills. Have experience facilitating both in-person and virtual workshops. Have experience using emerging learning technologies to enhance the learning environment.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes including preparing materials, delivering training and reviewing outcomes.
- Succession Planning: Support Talent Review and Succession Planning processes including preparing materials, delivering training and leverage outcomes to drive Leadership Development programs.
- Change Management and Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment and identify ways to improve employee satisfaction and retention. Demonstrated ability to drive change across the organization. Support employees in adopting new processes and technologies.
- Analyze and Improve: Assess current organizational development and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Compliance: proven expertise in program measurement and evaluation (Kirkpatrick Levels), including impact measurement, and developing new metrics/KPIs. Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve talent management practices. Ensure all talent management practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field or 6 years of relevant work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in HR, preferably in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field, and preferably in a senior level analytical.
- At least 5 years of experience with course content and learning design experience.
- Certified in leadership development models and instruments, e.g. Birkman, MBTI, Hogan, or others. Experience in Emotional Intelligence/Conscious Leadership practice is preferred.
- Audio and/or visual production experience a plus.
- Innovative thinking while delivering tactically in an evolving global and digital environment
- Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines. Ability to deliver results and actions in a fast-changing environment
- Strong collaboration interpersonal, facilitation, and influencing skills across geographies, levels, and functions. Strong interpersonal skills to be an accessible relatable support to a large remote team
- Proficiency in HR software and Learning Management Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc.This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.
Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:
· Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary.
· Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions.

· The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
· Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities.
· Able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
