About the Job
The Manager, Solution Architect manages the practice of Data Capture at Access. The Data Capture Platform is responsible for converting data that originates from sources such as paper documents, tapes, and microfiche into digital format that supports online consumption, records management, and information governance. This individual shall develop and maintain processes for the practice, train, and mentor others in the data capture practice. The Manager, Solution Architect supports of Access business systems, including but not limited to ERP, CRM, Client Portal, and all associated functions.
Primary Functions:
• Leads or Performs the following
o Creation of data capture platform roadmap.
o Requirements gathering and documentation.
o Creation of use cases and test cases for IT Systems.
o Test new versions of IT systems and associated tools.
o Continuous Delivery of new enhancements
• Management of Global team
• Teach and enforce business function SOP’s in relationship IT functions
o Analyze data capture metrics for the enterprise.
• Continually improve documentation of processes, policies and procedures.
• Continually monitor and assess the current state of platform for ways to improve
• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Development Teams, Infosec on Technology and Process solutions to improve platform
• Review business systems and assist with integration of systems.
• Acts as subject matter expert to investigate and resolve issues reported through help desk.
• Train, develop and strengthen Access team members, sharing knowledge of systems and business processes.
Secondary Functions:
• Participate in enterprise projects lending specific subject expertise.
• Lead small projects either as the sole contributor or with other team members.
• Liaison with other groups within Access on company initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Travel up to 25% of time as needed
• Other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Years of Experience:
• College Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years’ experience as IT business analyst or similar role
Certifications, Licenses, Credentials:
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner – preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work independently while still collaborating as part of a team
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
• Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
• Extreme attention to detail, strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
