The QA Manager will focus on ensuring the quality and functionality of our business applications and web development projects, leading the establishment of these processes within the company. The QA Manager will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure our applications meet quality standards. The QA Manager role is pivotal in identifying issues early, improving product quality, and enhancing the end-user experience.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for business applications, ensuring coverage of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Work closely with the development team to understand application functionality, requirements, and design to proactively contribute to the quality of the codebase.
- Identify, log, and track defects to resolution, collaborating with developers for timely fixes.
- Perform manual and automated testing using tools compatible with C# and .NET frameworks.
- Creating and running manual and automated tests to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices, improving overall quality processes within the development team.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) to support rapid and iterative development cycles.
- Provide detailed feedback and suggest improvements for both code quality and user experience.
- Test Shopify-specific functionalities like product pages, checkout processes, payment gateways, and third-party app integrations.
- Verify that inventory is correctly updated after purchases, and order processing flows are working properly.
- Confirm that the store’s design and functionality are consistent across different browsers and devices.
- Test third-party apps and plugins installed on the Shopify store to confirm they work as expected and don’t interfere with site functionality.
- Track and report bugs or inconsistencies, collaborating with developers to ensure resolutions.
- Experience in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders whilst taking full ownership of all activities within your scope

Full-time schedule, 5 days a week
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in QA, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit) and test automation tools compatible with .NET.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools
- Experience with API clients like POSTMAN and SOAPUI
Compensation:
- Compensation commensurate upon experience ($80,000.00 to $85,000.00).
