This position will be located primarily in Clearfield, Utah.This role is leading an industrial engineering team that serves multiple IPTs within a program, including fabrication and assembly of composites. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:This manager will lead managers and a total team of 18-25 team members, including industrial engineers and engineering technician(s). They serve as the primary focal of IEOM on the programCoach, mentor, and develop managers for them to lead team of industrial engineers by assigning meaningful tasks, providing frequent feedback, and rewarding positive performance.
Build trust within the organization and align team towards a clear set of impactful goalsProvide technical and leadership support to the Industrial Engineering teamCAM (Cost Account Manager) for IEOM team on the programDrive strategic initiatives and tactical actions that deliver results to improve program cost and schedule performance.
Ensure program milestones and performance goals are achievedDeliver on short-term, high visibility program requests, while creating a vision and executing a long-term strategy to influence change within and outside the organizationAdminister to Industrial Engineering employees; including performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, skills inventory and personal resourcesWorking side by side with Operations and IPT leadership by developing tools to help them achieve all business targetsSourcing key IEOM talent to ensure success of the Business Unit goalsWorking in concert with other functional homerooms and shared service organizations to coordinate, direct, and support the continuous improvement of people, products, processes, systems and servicesOversight of projects and tasks assigned to the cross-functional ASBU organization and providing direction to ensure quality, schedule and cost are achievedCreating long range planning & strategies for the operations team (e.g.: staffing forecasting, recovery plan schedules, line balancing assessments, EAC/Budget forecasting)This role requires the ability to travel 25% to support suppliers and/or program related meetingsOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
