Job DescriptionRole Purpose:
This position will support the Enterprise Procurement Team in implementing procurement strategies and initiatives in the Broadcast and Production Categories. Act as liaison between the procurement organization, business stakeholders, and other corporate functions throughout the procurement process. Be a trusted advisor to the stakeholders, aligning with enterprise goals and objectives. Partner with Comcast and Sky Procurement Teams and Business Stakeholders to drive global enterprise deals and agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead RFP efforts and activities pre and post bid
- Analyze and understand proposals and provide clear options and recommendations
- Provide strategic insight and market intel to facilitate the decision-making process
- Lead contract and legal negotiation efforts
- Responsible for timely execution of projects, coordinating efforts across all stakeholders and participating functions including Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, and Governance
- Manage vendor relationships and ecosystems
- Understand the greater impact of business decisions within the vendor ecosystem
- Maintain accurate spend and contract-related data in numerous databases
- Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement of technology products and services
- Solid commercial and legal acumen, ability to negotiate contracts and deep understanding of commercial models (technology and services)
- Excellent work ethic
- Experienced data analytics capabilities, including proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and other analysis tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional relationship management skills and ability to interact at all levels of management in a mesh organization
Desired Characteristics:
- Proactive self-starter, able to identify and take the lead on initiatives
- Great time management skills and strong multitasker
- Professional procurement accreditation is a plus
- Working knowledge of Broadcast Technology or general deal points when negotiating technology agreements
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
