ABOUT THE JOB:
Effective Third Party Management (TPM) plays a crucial role in helping our organization achieve its strategic objectives while ensuring the safety, soundness, and compliance of third-party products and services. Our TPM team is dedicated to administering and overseeing the bank's TPM Policy and Program, managing third-party relationships and associated risks, and safeguarding the interests of our customers, employees, and shareholders. The TPM Operations Manager is a leadership position within our Business Risk and Controls (BRC) division. Reporting to the TPM Director, this role involves managing a team of Risk Advisors who support various lines of business (LOBs) in identifying, assessing, and managing third-party risks. The Operations Manager also plays a key role in developing and maintaining risk management policies and programs, providing consultation to stakeholders across the organization, and promoting a culture of accountability for risk management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Risk Advisors, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Provide guidance and oversight for assessing and mitigating risks associated with third-party engagements.
- Analyze operational activities and prepare management reports to measure performance against strategic priorities and key indicators.
- Implement changes to TPM policies and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on TPM-related matters for senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent leadership experience in a related field.
- Strong soft skills including team building, relationship management, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
TACTICAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
- Experience in third-party risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with TPM Framework/Program Management.
- Professional certification in vendor management, audit, or risk management.
- Working knowledge of the banking industry and related regulations.
This role may be mobile or home-based, providing flexibility in where you perform your job duties.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Base salary range: $95,000.00 to $125,000.00 annually (dependent on experience).
- Eligibility for short-term and deferred incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.
