The Manager, Billing and Collections supports general accounting functions of the practice such as analyzing, consolidating and interpreting financial data. The Manager, Billing and Collections performs independent research and analytical reviews in support of the Property Tax practice and maintains software databases to ensure database and report integrity. This individual is responsible for managing the invoicing process for the Property Tax Practice and managing through collection of the receivable.

People:
- Coordinates, oversees, and monitors daily invoicing process for service delivery professionals.
- Ensures other Senior Financial Analysts are cross trained as a backup in all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Manages the Senior Financial Analysts regarding financial management and Firm-wide initiatives.
- Prepares and reviews detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of Management understanding the Firm's internal invoicing and collection processes.
- Participates in the annual planning process and on-going quarterly forecasts, taking ownership of understanding and validating the rationale for the financial forecast of revenue, operating expenses, assets and cash flow; being able to explain variances to previously communicated forecasts, preparing and presenting to the Property Tax Leadership.
- Prepares and disseminates timely and accurate financial information to allow for efficient use and control over financial resources.
- Advanced knowledge of existing financial reports and presentations that support existing revenue goals. Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM and can accurately and efficiently create engagements and enter appropriate codes.
- Prepares a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of both short-term and long-term business plans.
- Responsible for managing special projects to improve process efficiency and functionality.
- Possesses good written and oral communication skills and maintains a professional approach and work ethic in completing tasks timely.
- Possesses attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years billing / invoicing and collections related experience required. If no degree, then an equivalent of 10 years of experience is required. General knowledge and ability to understand standard accounting principles.
Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge of Outlook, Basic Microsoft® Word, and Excel.
Certificates and Licenses:Valid driver's license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervises employees in the Property Tax practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm's policies and applicable laws.
Work Environment:- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
- Independent travel requirement: less than 25%.
- Standard fulltime workweek requirement.

- For Denver, CO-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is
$90,000 - $115,000.
- For New York, NY-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is
$101,000-$126,000.
- For Bellevue, WA- based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is
$93,000-$117,000.
- For Carlsbad, Glendale, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Diego, CA-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $93,000-$117,000.
- For Oakland and San Jose, CA-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $101,000-$126,000.
