About the Job
Schedule: Rotating shifts, with options of 5:00am-5:00pm or 5:00pm-5:00am, following a 3-days-on, 3-days-off, 2-days-on, 2-days-off schedule. Occasional Sunday work may be required based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Apply troubleshooting skills to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
Minimize downtime by efficiently identifying and resolving equipment failures.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Work with pumps, hydraulics, and welding as required.
Demonstrate basic understanding of electrical theory, wiring systems, and installation processes.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent; must have hands-on experience in hydraulics and compressed air systems.
Education: Industrial maintenance diploma, electrician license, or journeyman license preferred. Will consider current enrollment in technical school as a substitute for experience.
Computer Skills: Ability to use basic computer skills for logging information, processing work orders, and using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally, standing on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours, and working in confined or tall spaces.
