Maintenance Technician at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Contract job with a client in Lakewood, CA/Cerritos, CA/Downey, CA. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and executing a variety of handyman tasks to ensure the facility's operational efficiency and appearance.

 

Rate Range: $19/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Maintenance Technician job responsibilities include:

• Execute scheduled maintenance work orders to ensure optimal functioning of all systems and equipment.

• Conduct minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs to maintain the facility's infrastructure.

• Paint and repair interior and exterior walls, trims, and other surfaces as needed.

• Respond to urgent repair requests, including lighting and plumbing emergencies, to minimize downtime.

• Assist with setups and takedowns for events, including furniture moves and decorations.

• Safely operate scissor or boom lifts and other equipment to perform maintenance tasks at heights.

• Accurately complete and submit paperwork related to maintenance tasks, including work orders and reports.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• GED or equivalent; two-year college or technical trade school preferred.

• 2 to 5 years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

• Valid driver’s license for transportation to job sites.

• Scissor or boom lift experience and certification preferred.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
