Giddings Hawkins, a Liquid Environmental Solutions company, is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our rotating shift team in Milwaukee!
Looking for experience in Commercial Maintenance
***MUST be comfortable with HEIGHTS**
Height acclimation is required, and Height tolerance is necessary. **Will be CLIMBING extension ladders, scaffolding, and troubleshooting ROOFTOP exhaust/ AC units. use of BOOM operators.
***MUST HAVE Driver's License***
*WEEKLY pay ranges from $20+ an hour with LOTS of available Overtime!
*pay open for negotiation based on experience
Shift: Monday- Friday (48-60 hour work week) Rotating start timewith occasional weekend shifts during peak times
*Heavy industrial cleaning.
This job involves driving a company vehicle with another hood cleaner and cleaning grease from a customer’s kitchen exhaust system: fan, duct, filters, hoods, appliances, etc. Most of these jobs are completed during evenings and nights; however, we also have jobs completed during the day. Employees will be working with pressure washing equipment, scrapers, degreasers, and kitchen grease. This job also performs specialized maintenance at factories and stadiums.
Must be comfortable with a background check, will need abilities to work on TSA and/or military base.

Qualifications:
*Ability to work with manual and power tools.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
- Flexible attitude and mindset
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Sense of urgency and efficient service
- Ability to lift 55 lbs or more
- Authorized to work in the United States

Essential Functions:
- Must understand the inter-workings of a machine and be able to maintain it.
- Installs, repairs, and maintains or rebuilds equipment and machinery relative to the physical plant and its processes including air compressors, pumps, motors, variable frequency drives
- Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations
- Wear and properly use safety equipment and/or PPE when required.
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent (Required)
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): electric knowledge
- 1 year(s): welding Skills
