Maintenance Technician at NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS LLC

Job Summary

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct, or coach others.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety
  1. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  2. Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
• Delivery
  1. Fully proficient performing troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of equipment
  2. Perform and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
  3. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
  4. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.
  5. Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints.
  6. Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
  7. Solve problems and improve processes.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement activities.

  1. Applies high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
  2. Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
  3. Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.
  4. Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.
  5. Follows all process documentation and quality procedures.
  6. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
  7. Performs quality inspections.

• Drawing Interpretation - Integrates product design and manufacturing equipment engineering drawings to support the design and development of an optimal manufacturing process that meets product design specifications.

Education and/or Experience

College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalentrequired.

Certified Green Belt preferred (Can be General, PPS, or 6S stats); Lean Manufacturing training preferred.

Significant relevant experience, including supervisory experience, required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
