Maintenance Technician - CareerBuilder Premium Subscription

SUMMARY The Maintenance Tech II supports our operations and clients by: ensuring that equipment at our customer site and from time to time our filling station operate effectively and efficiently on a 24/7 basis. This equipment encompasses multiple components including compressors, chillers, dryers, dispensers, communication and control panels, valves, piping, electrical systems, high-pressure gas systems, pneumatics and related equipment. This position requires regional travel to NG Advantage’s customer sites. In addition, night and weekend on-call responsibilities region wide may be required on an assigned 4-week rotation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Completing all assigned projects and tasks proficiently.

2. Completing and tracking of maintenance activities.

3. Logging daily operating parameters.

4. Tracking and maintaining supply inventories.

5. Organizing and managing all tools and equipment.

6. Coordinating with vendors and suppliers.

7. Preparing bid documents;

8. Timely ordering of parts and materials.

9. Scheduling and managing outside maintenance contractors;

10. Complying with NG Advantage purchasing and financial policies.

11. Following all NG Advantage safety practices, company policies, industry practices, manufacturer recommendations and OSHA guidelines are followed.

12. Assisting periodically with daily facility operations, facility maintenance or other special projects as assigned by the Milton Operations Director.

13. Covering territories assigned to other Maintenance Techs when needed to cover vacations, sick days, etc.

14. Presents a professional image consistent with standards.

15. Maintains awareness at all times of the effect of actions upon the experience of the customer and co-workers.

16. On-call responsibilities as assigned.

17. All other duties as assigned.
