Job Description: As a Maintenance Mechanic at [Your Company Name], you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial manufacturing machinery and facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial manufacturing machinery, including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain and repair facilities infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machinery performance and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize production downtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial manufacturing machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
