Job Details
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and repairing various assembly and processing equipment, including highly automated PLC-controlled assembly lines, hydraulic presses, and kitting operations.
- Understanding mechanics and pneumatics, with experience in basic fabrication and the use of power tools.
- Utilizing computer skills for tasks such as sending emails and managing Excel spreadsheets.
- Troubleshooting and reading schematics for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Demonstrating curiosity, a calm demeanor, and reliability.
- Ensuring the work area remains clean and safe.
- Communicating job details manually or electronically, including preventive and predictive maintenance and shift handoff notes.
- Assisting in planning and implementing safety, OEE, and production-related improvements.
- Performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment regularly.
- Reporting defective equipment and material needs to the Supervisor or next shift.
- Verifying work quality to maintain standards.
- Handling occasional physical tasks involving material up to 45 pounds.
