Maintenance Technician - Maple Springs Laundry

About the Job
As a maintenance technician, the following skills and knowledge are favored:
- Mechanical Knowledge:
- Conveyors, drives, gearboxes/motors, rollers/bearings, taper locks, and drive chains/belts are all relevant systems to our daily operations.
- Basic Electrical Knowledge:
- Contactors, relays, overloads, electrical control circuits, and line voltage are relevant daily. PLC and any other knowledge are Pluses.
- Basic Pneumatic Knowledge:
- Solenoid valves, air cylinders, check/flow controls, and quick exhausts are desirable.
- Basic/limited Plumbing Knowledge:
- PVC bonding/piping, pumps, float switches, solenoid valves, and steam are desired but are not always necessary.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to learn new skills and trades pertaining to maintenance.
- Must own and bring your own hand tools.
- i.e., Pump pliers, screwdrivers, SAE and Metric wrenches, SAE and Metric hex-keys, wire strippers, linesman pliers, diagonal cutters
- Dependable
- Must have a current driver's license.
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
Schedule:
- Initial scheduled positions may vary for new hires as positions are being filled.
- Hours may vary slightly, with plenty of overtime opportunities.
- Occasional off days may be required for certain PMs or machinery installs.
Experience:
- Maintenance or trade experience is preferred but not necessarily required.
Job-Type: Full-Time
- Starting pay can vary (more or less) due to knowledge and experience.
